At ANDERSON SPORT AND WELLNESS we offer physical therapist-led fitness classes and MELT Method classes.
Physical Therapist-led group fitness - discover the difference
Our physical therapist-led fitness classes are designed by a physical therapist with injury prevention and health optimization in mind. These classes are perfect for you if you:
- Have a "trick" knee/shoulder or that stiff achy back but you want to stay active or start getting active again and are afraid of getting injured in a fitness class.
- You feel great right now but you wonder if there is something more you could be doing to keep feeling good and prevent future injury in your sport or life activities.
- Want to work out in a fun, upbeat environment, get toned AND prevent injury.
- Don't want to get lost in the crowd (our class sizes are capped at 10 participants so everyone can get guidance from the instructor).
What is MELT?
The MELT Method is a simple self-treatment technique which uses a soft roller and soft rubber balls to restore health and balance in the myofascial (myo = muscle, fascia = connective tissue), nervous, and lymphatic systems of the body. You can feel better with participating just minutes a day.
Is MELT like yoga, Feldenkrais®, Pilates®, or foam rolling?
No. MELT is a unique approach to making changes in your neurofascial system (nervous and connective tissue system), in a way that improves muscle and joint mobility, and helps shift the nervous system toward the parasympathetic aspects which promote "rest, heal, and digest."
Has MELT been reviewed by experts? Is there any research?
Yes, MELT has been reviewed and approved by internationally respected doctors, neuroscientists, and researchers such as Tom Myers, Gil Hedly, Ph.D., Robert Schleip, Ph.D., and Jean Pierre Barral, D.O. A google search for MELT Method will yield research evidence.
MELT Method Classes
If you are new to the MELT classes, please sign up online. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Nicole. Please plan to arrive a few minutes before your class so that so that you can sign a waiver.

Group Class Pricing Options:
One Class: $30.00
10 Class Series - $210.00 ($21/session)
This option allows you to use 12 months' time to attend four classes. Pre-registration for the 4 classes is required. Auto-renew billing is available.
4 Class Series - $100 ($25 per class)
4 classes, must be used within 12 months. Pre-registration for the 4 classes is required. Auto-renew billing is available.
Monthly Class Membership: $115.00
Access to all classes offered during one month (including non-MELT classes). Three month commitment is required. Membership includes one guest pass per month.
*New classes coming soon: MELT NeuroCore, Pilates Mat, Yoga, Healthy Back (a Physical Therapist designed workout to keep your back healthy), Zumba, Surf/Mountain Shape (a Physical Therapist designed workout to prepare you for surfing, skiing, snowboarding).
