Nicole Anderson, DPT, MS, ATC
Doctor of Physical Therapy Nicole Anderson approaches physical therapy and fitness coaching from the philosophy that the myofascial system is an important player in optimal function and the resolution of injury and pain. Nicole personally understands significant injury and pain after suffering a serious back injury in 2009 and being able to return to an active lifestyle thanks to a combination of treatments including the John Barnes approach to Myofascial Release, Strain Counterstrain, the MELT method, and therapeutic exercise.
Nicole enjoys her regular vitamin "sea" through walks on the beach, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding with her husband, and surfing. She also enjoys going to the mountains to hike, fish, or camp.
Nicole has worked in health care for over a decade. She has a wealth of experience in injury prevention, evaluation and care for a wide range of populations from athletes of all competitive levels to the general population and people with special health considerations.
Nicole has a special interest in the spine and has taken many continuing education classes along those lines. Her goal is to empower others to achieve their goals through providing education, exercise programs and injury evaluation and care.
